Description New Urgent Update:
4.338 light years from the Mazintar Solar System, including 3 life bearing planets: Gargora; Iuxta; and Sapang is a other, relatively recent Solar System (discovery wise). A Gas giant, now named Titos was found as the 6th planet. It has 12 moons, 4 of which visible in this satellite image. One of the 12 was found to have a very dense surface, yet not of a solid one. This was in the discovery of the System. Around 230 years from humans arriving on Gargora, a group of Golemns , including Sky Titans had alerted The United Galactic Gargoran Organization of their discovery. It was a water filled moon. 12 years later, drones were sent and a year after, Cognì and Golemns were sent out to the moon. Now 233 years later, today, the scientist's "embryos " have landed in the water. Assessing the planet was quick. Oxygen was safe to inhale. The days at the poles are 4 hours long, at the equator 6 hours. This is due to the Gas Giant blocking out a lot of sunlight along with other rocks, plus the moon's rotation.Plus, the planet has life.
The organisms are somewhat well known, as the drones had arrived earlier, at least a year and took some photos. There are large marine predators in the water. And seemingly, none of the animals have eyes, most likely due to the longer nights. The planet is also very cold, on average at the equator 30 degrees Fahrenheit. There are super bergs, giant floating pieces of ice floating around the planet, though not that numerous. At the current moment there are 56 super bergs. Humans are planned to go to Poseidon, the new life filled moon.

I have some art for the moon, but my IPad camera won't work, i'll scan traditional and draw digitally.

My girls and I sit around the table and have some of the best conversations--one of them involve doctors in space--because--yes we have to take care of ourselves but what if you have to take care of whatever or whoever you meet?  We came to the conclusion that the best doctors for space travel are going to be Veternarians because they are used to dealing with interspecies issues. Since you are all over the planets now, would love to hear your thoughts on this.

YESSSSS - I WAS ACTUALLY THINKING THE SAME THING RECENTLY!! Because it directly applies to my project, actually (my main OC's, one of them particularly, is chosen as one of the main potential-xenobiologists for the first interstellar manned mission...he's somewhat based off myself combined with some aspects of who I WISH to be, and so I wanted him to have the prestigious MD-PhD dual-title... but then I realized... if he actually specializes in "genetic design" and is familiar with EXOTIC CREATURES (why he was chosen as one of the best people to study any alien life they encounter), then...he wouldn't be an MD, it'd make a lot more sense for him to have a DVM degree...)

...But I agree with Midiaou too. I think a lot of it would end up coming down to the individual, and what they're expected to deal with. If they have primarily non-human crew/encounters/duties, it doesn't make sense for them to be specialized in human medicine. But if it is a human crew they're doctoring, you want an actual MD, and can have a separate biologist/s to work with aliens.

Now that is an interesting point of view--what kind of person would you have to have--what would be the qualifications--a vet works interspecies, yes---the others are hard core scientists (I had to laugh at you coining "genetic design" as I used to work for a company by the very same name).  But here is what it comes down to--you meet the cat people (no relation to me)--well you meet cat people and of them is injured and their "doctor" is dead.  Who fixes the injured cat person? A Vet? A regular doctor?  What are the consequences of failure in a scenario where no relation or degree of trust has been established?  What if you decision which could save a life could also prevent or start a war? How do you make the cat person trust you--a bowl of milk? probably not.  Would be interested in hearing how this would be resolved.

I'm going to respond to this in a note, so I don't clutter-up Midiaou's comments with my multi-sentence/multi-paragraph responses.

That's actually quite intriguing. Yet again, the veterinarians would have to understand the bodies of their patients. It could go both ways

yeah, that is the way that we took it too. On the other hand, Vets would have a easier learning curve toward better understanding alien anatomy. OH anyone is welcome to weigh in on this thread.

And why os that? I think I see what u mean, correct me if I'm wrong. Vets are used to exploring non human animals, thus having an easier go at inderstanding foreign bodies.

exactly, vets are less focused one species and must follow diverse anatomical structures. Sure there may be commonalities but if there are not the best person to spot the differences, save a life and divert an "incident", it would seem to me, would be a veterinarian.
