Yeah, So I have a head canon that Gimli does a lot of troublesome dwarf sittingEdit:
When I made this I was told that The Hobbit was 30 years before LOTR so it would have made Gimli older
but that was incorrect and Gimli is actually the youngest of all of them. So yeah I now know. please enjoy the alternate age universe though :]

I wouldn't worry about the age mistake if I were you. In the book Ori is supposed to be fifty years older than KΓli so it doesn't really matter if Gimli is older in this.

Actually, I'm pretty sure The Hobbit was SIXTY years before LOTR. Cause when you watch the first LOTR movie, it shows *60 years ago* when Bilbo first finds the ring. Plus, the aging makes sense in that case - since it was Bilbo's 111 birthday at the beginning of the Fellowship.

I absolutly love this, but if my memory serves me Gimli was left behind because he was too young to go on this journey. That would mean that everyone else was older.

I always thought that Gimli was to scared to go until I found out. It's like someone told me that Thorin was 50 years old not knowing that Erebor was destroyed over 150 years before the Hobbit and that Thorin was there.
So am I. It's really cute^^
