This is a cartoonised Yellow-billed Spoonbill. I love these birds

This is the second bird of three in a series that my mum commissioned for a school's Art Sale. Local community artists donate art to be put on display and sold one night, all proceeds going towards school projects. The other artworks I donated to the school were the wing series that I posted a while ago, and the recently posted painting of a Hybiscus.

Like the other paintings in this series, this is quite unlike my usual style I think, very very simplistic whereas I usually do more detailed work. Apart from the cartoon eye and simplistic colouring, this bird is basicaly real. Yes, its bill does look like a spoon
