Small life update (cuz I'm lazy to do a journal):
At last the last piece is done (technically there's still a raffled portrait which I'll finish after I'm done with Junicorn pieces o-o)! Going forward I will no longer do these 25+ day long sales. It is simply too taxing on my brain and the fact that it took me 7 months to chew through these is good enough proof. I've once again burned myself out which is a large contributing factor to my slowness and I'm only managing it by taking breaks and doing things for myself. Life in my parent's house proved to be quite stressful and I went through a depressive period when I was constantly questioning myself on whether doing art for living is a right way even though nothing really worked so well for me as this. My family was never well off and while I myself am not really that concerned with money, managing to earn enough I can take care of myself and my cat, my parents are and I wanted so desperately to help them it just got to me and triggered some very dark thoughts. I'm doing better now but still, I haven't been this distraught for a long time and it left me exhausted.
I've been doing great though, all things considered, taking more care of myself and trying to enjoy life as is. I'm super thankful for people at Boucle Unicorn who took me in, it really helped me to have some other purpose in life and take my mind off things when needed.
I will now focus on finishing Junicorn pieces and then other owed things, old commissions, art trades and such. I hope to get to a place where I don't feel like someone is eternally waiting for me.
