I recently finished a collaboration with my friendThis drawing was supposed to be just a practice sketch.(I was afraid of messing up the original
) I scanned the visible strip he sent me,and did a drawing based on what I could see.
It ended up being more than just a sketch so,I thought I would share it with you.
If you're not familiar with Luca's art,it's definitely worth a look. Amazing stuff.

I scanned the strip out of desperation.
Luca warned me about the paper he used,and
it DID turn out to be very fragile. Very little,
if any,mistakes allowed. The printer paper was
actually much easier,and I got another drawing
out of the deal.

I also did a twist on perspective. The door and the windows,are different angles.

I have the same problem,with getting things I can see in my head,on paper.
Lately,I've become much more aware of the affects of light. As in shadows.
How long should they be,or how would they look falling across an uneven,or curved surface.
Very confusing. I believe shadows make a huge difference.
