I am currently working on a slideshow/video and it will contain many different pictures. Now i have found a image on your site more specific here that I found very nice and fiting to the content of my video. Now I kindly ask if i may make use of this particular picture in the aforementioned video. It will be published onto youtube. A If my request is denied I will not make use of the picture. I do just wish to use it in the video not print it but it will be in a non commercial way. In credits and description I will make credit to your site and you if you wish.

haha, thanks, yes, dark crystal insporation, just icey. Maybe for the sequal...? hahah. I dont really dig speed paintings either, so i labeled this a 'sketch'. Which would later lead to a refined image. Just not for this since I hadnt planned anything past the sketch. Don't doubt yourself until you try it 30 times.

yeah for me a quik sketch and a speedpaint is more or less the same thing too. only sketch is pen or pencil to get a rough look how things are placed or which form something have. A speed paint is more just if a general idea of the colour composition.
But maybe exercise speed painting is a good lesson to learn a better shading skill / knowledge and feeling.

Dunno why but when I look at this picture I get the same feeling as I had while playing the Icewind Dale Game, and I gotta say I loved that game

haha, i bet you'd get that feeling from a lot of icey scenes. Im not to worried about minor flaws though, since its just a sketch. A later stage would be going over this and refining it to something usable. thanks!
