Its been a while since I did some charakter art. It was quite refreshing! But it takes so much time... XD First I just wanted to do the nubian warrior queen and then a thought came up to me "Praaaacticeeee backgroooooundssss..." XD So I painted one! And now I am thinking to maybe make another version of her standing in the middle and working more on the background XD Lets see. ^^Painted those Charakterdesigns back in 2012. Doesn´t look like a big skill difference between then and now XD I was traveling for about 2 years,
so there are about 2 years of painting-time between those concepts and now ^^

I like the design of your warrior queen; she's both beautiful and practical. Practicing backgrounds really helped this piece out; the added ambiance from hazy pyramids and the columns framing her add to her desert aura and give her a sense of place. Great work!

You did a really beautiful job with your painting. However, I noticed that you accidentally forgot her leg armor on the leftmost model. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but it caught my eye. Still, keep making gorgeous art like this <3

You are absolutely right hehe Its just that I added the gold on her leg later. And I had already painted that nice legs from the side view. I just couldn´t paint over that spot where the light hits her patella XD So I hoped no one will notice ;DDDD
