Gorgeous photograph. I really love the fog in the background. It makes it very mysterious. The size of this photograph also adds to the depth made by the fog. I love the background more than the foreground, with the trees fading and becoming more ghost-like.

One thing I would like to see with this is perhaps a completely snowy forest floor. Obviously this is nothing in your power to change, though, but it would make for a nice black & white photograph and I think the foreground detracts from the background due to the brown/orange of the plants popping up through the snow. I'm sure it was cold enough going out there to take this photograph in the first place, however if you happen to get more snow in the future this would be a lovely place to retake photographs at.
