I'm always trying on different artistic hats. Recently, I decided to set up a table at the Eerie Horror Fest. Quickly realizing I didn't really have any horror stuff to sell, I thought I'd try to make simple, retro looking movie posters.After getting Inception out of the way, I really wanted to get to some of the horror movies. I've always loved Re-Animator and came up with this simple 3-color design (although, the different shade of green is technically 4 colors).

Yep! Initially, I wanted them all to be this simple, but I kinda lost sight of that and things began to get a bit more complex. Not too out of control, but still--I should keep this one in mind when I eventually make others.

Some infos about the Mountains...
Director Guillermo del Toro and screenwriter Matthew Robbins wrote a screenplay based on Lovecraft's story, but in 2006 had trouble getting Warner Bros. to finance the project.
Del Toro wrote, "The studio is very nervous about the cost and it not having a love story or a happy ending, but it's impossible to do either in the Lovecraft universe."
In July 2010 it was announced that the project would be made in 3D with James Cameron as producer.
A radio adaptation of At the Mountains of Madness is available from the Atlanta Radio Theater Company.

I do dig the movie but i can't say it is one of my favorites but i am truly blow away by this design ( VERY Creative), and it does make me wanna watch the movie again.
