Definitely a good, creepy look for them. The first design for the Cybermen was scary for how uncomfortably human they still looked under all the metal components and baggage. But this design frightens for a different reason: it looks completely metal. There's nothing human left about it. Just a cold, empty metal shell of its former self.

Completely agree, with the original design you can still see the vestiges of a human being as though they haven't completely disregarded their humanity, whereas with this design any sign of humanity has been totally removed. Thanks for taking the time to comment Douglas!
