This is a very interesting piece of art. I love the tone in it. I'm a Norse mythology junkie, so I think stuff like this is cool.

Wow, this is absolutely stunning! Angrboda simply does not get the recognition she deserves. The pose is so telling, and reflects how powerful she is. Depicting her as the more dominant, possessive side to their relationship is genius. I love the colours and the detail with the ice, Loki's armcuff, Angrboda's Jotun markings, among others. This is a really amazing work of art!

I absolutely love this piece of art. I see it more in the mythology and not in the Marvel-universe way here (because in Marvel universe there is no Angrboda I think). Angrboda is a really great character in the mythology I think and a good mother. You've drawn her really awesome like I imgagined her while reading the stories!

I've seen her in Marvel, briefly. She's dead, and Thor uses runic magic(I think) to bring her back to life. He does it to get directions to Helheim. She doesn't want to be disturbed and gets very upset. She then decides to take him there the direct way, by trying to drag him in, and kill him. She almost succeeds but Thor breaks the runic spell. Apart from her strength, it wasn't a good representation of her. She was also blonde. >.<

I KNOW! I wish we could know more about her, how she caught loki's eye, what kind of mother she is, how she reacted to her children being kidnapped. After the myth of Liki's children, she just... disappears.

Plausible plot for a future Thor film: after Leofey's death in the first film, a female frost giant seizes power over their kingdom, and offers Loki the allegiance of her people to help him seize the throne of Asgard-but in reality, she is using him to fulfill and old prophecy that Loki himself is unaware of, and that results in the one thing all Asgardians-including Loki himself-truly and deeply fear: Ragnarok.

I just looked up Ragnarok on wikipedia. Two words come to mind "Oh S**t!" If that were to happen oh yeah I'd beg for Thor's help. Maybe they'll have Loki's more beautiful and loyal wife Sigyn will be there to back up Loki.

That would be a cool idea, maybe for Thor 3. The biggest twist would be that Loki would have to ask for Thor's help, just like in Thor 2 Thor had to ask for Loki's help.

What's more, Loki's whole motivation is his identity crisis about being a frost giant, but also being Odin's adopted son and Thor's brother-so how does he react to his own monstrous offspring who are destined to destroy the universe?
