Description
DISCLAMER: I did change her outfit quite a lot, the only things I kept were the Catholic icons and her headscarf.
Erzuli Dantor, Hatian Voduo Goddess. She is the Iwa, or supreme spiritual being, of unconditional love and motherhood. She is a symbol of love and prosperity and is known to be feirce and powerful. She cares for everyone, especially women, children and those neglected by society. Erzuli Dantor is one aspect of Erzuli, different sisters have different names. She is known for her blessings of healing, motherhood, protection from violence, LGBT people, wealth, strength, vengeance and protection of single women. Idk how true this is but I saw a lot about her also being a patron of lesbians but the internet is a confusing place so I cannot be certain.
She is often depicted as the Black Madonna of Częstochowa and is holding her son, Ti Jean Petro (who also might be her lover I am very confused). She has 3 wedding bands as she has 3 husbands. Erzuli Dantor has a scar on her face she received while fighting over Ogun, another Iwa. She also carries a dagger she uses to defend herself and her devotees. Erzuli Dantor is a very fierce protector of her people and will help them at any time. She requires very little in a return for a blessing.
That being said, she is a very fiery Iwa. Legend says she vomits blood as a sign of her ferocity, sometimes even doing so while in a hosts body. This is not a good thing when she does it to someone, it means she is angry. She can be very dangerous and even destructive. Erzuli Zye Wouj or Erzuli Red Eyes is a name used for her when she becomes this way.
She is considered the mother of Haiti, she fought in the war alongside her people. However, fearing she would give away secrets to the enemy, her own people cut out her tongue. She cannot speak so now Ezili Danto can only say “ke-ke-ke” or a “de-de-de”.
She drinks red wine which is steeped with certain herbs. Certain beers may also be offered to her. Creme de Cacao can also be offered to Dantor, but only at certain times and in certain instances. She enjoys daggers, preferably with a double edge. Dolls are an ever popular gift to her, and an altar to Dantor may feature many, many dolls. Outfits made of blue denim, known as Karabel in Haiti, are worn by her. Especially when she goes out selling in the market.
For sacrifices, Erzuli Dantor enjoys a black female Kreyol pig. Rice with kongo peas, sweet potatoes, and yams are a few of her favourite additions to her meals. Dantor also receives black hens, but these are more often used in magic on her point or as a small payment for work or a contract.

You did such a wonderful job with this one!!! I love the details and how her skin tone matches her dress
And yes I've also heard of her being a patron of lesbians - both from the internet and from the book 'The Voodoo Hoodoo Spellbook' by Denise Alvarado. But that book focuses on the New Orleans practices, so it's not necessarily something that's attributed to her in other variants of the religion.. Nonetheless I really like it

Thank you!
when talking to some followers of her who practice Haitian voudou they said that due to her nature, many LGBT people began to adopt her as a protector. A mother/warrior figure goddess who protects the vulnerable outcasts of society was the perfect match. However, this isn't seen as favourable by some due to homophobia and transphobia.

Beautiful! She's usually depicted as a poor peasant who started the Revolution without any French finery, but it's really great to see someone's personal vision and still have it capture all the key elements!
