I've made a start already in Photoshop.. should be ready soon.. I didn't realize just how long it was going to take! The drawing itself took many, many hours..
I've been out of the loop recently.. I haven't been feeling that great.. on top of that my father was recently diagnosed with Alzheimers. So, I haven't felt like drawing and took some time out
Anyway, I'm back now.. a few more drawings on the go to
Sorry if you've msg'd me these last few weeks.. I will get back to you soon

You deserve the DD for this magnificent work of such great detail. I really like this piece it looks so good with out colour, but I will still give it a try, I do not think I could improve this work but it will not stop me.

awesome mandala Jim, looks wonderful. I've been putting mine up as black and white's too, waiting to get the guts to put color to them. I'd love to see this one in color someday! Hope you and your Dad are feeling better soon.

Holy sh*t, I would need a pot of espresso and two pounds of crystal meth to do a fraction of this. [Don't worry, I use neither.] Amazing, just amazing.

Thanks very much. Yes, they are time consuming and can take a lot of patience.. but I don't attempt to do them all in one go.. It takes me many, many sessions and I also draw two pictures at once so I don't get bored

yay! Jim! DD
DD is a wonderful recognition for this beauty
Im sorry to hear about your low energy level and about your father. Alzheimer sure is hard to deal with. I kinda know since my mother in law has dementia. It's getting worse step by little step, and sometimes a big step. Thinking of you and wishing you much strength

Thank you very much Lou. Both for your kind words regarding my work and my father. My drawing is keeping me sane at the moment.. The DD was a huge energy and morale boost.. Makes it all worthwhile This work was recently rejected by a group for being to 'flat and rigid'.. I'm glad we all think differently
