My take on Mega Gengar, or as I like to call it, Sylph Slaughterer
Not that I hate its normal Mega Form I just think it could have been improved a bit... 
I didn't change much, I gave it a more elongated form, I just got rid of the "legs" trying to make it look a tad more ghostly, and as some people can probably see with the eyes I was clearly inspired by the Kishin's eyes from back when I watched Soul Eater (which was by now a good 2 and a half/3 years ago dear god) Because if you look carefully the pupils are really just smaller versions of the third eye images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__c…
In fact if I was still into Soul Eater I would have named my Gengar Asura or Kishin.....but nope I like my Gengar as Reala xD lets see how many people actually understand the reference

I will admit that this alternative to Mega Gengar is kickass. It could even be an alternate evolution.

I agree about the two Mega Mewtwos: Mega Mewtwo X's legs look ridiculous but the body is fine; Mega Mewtwo Y's design would have been better off as Mewthree. I'll admit this does come off as biased toward Mega Mewtwo X.

Yeah I would have been jealous of Mewtwo X if its legs and tail didn't look so ridiculous

I can see why, Mega Mewtwo's tail is like an erect phallus and Mega Manectric is the Dragonball Z concept taken literally.

I think Mega Manectric is okay, I like it more then most other people do...it could have been improved, but I did like the concept of its entire back resembling a lightning bolt...in a nutshell I like Mega Manectric better than what Manectric normally looks like....but its far from being anything close to a favorite.

Favourite wise, Mega Mewtwo Y was going to be my favourite since I was hoping to start the game with it like I did with Genesect in Black 2. But I've taken a liking to Mega Gengar, because of how scary cool it's design is. Which is shame considering that the majority of these Mega Evolutions aren't available until the post-game. And I barely used them at all.

Yeah...I trained my Mewtwo to level 100 so that's the only time I was really using its Mega evolution :<

The first Mewtwo I got was from Mystery Gift during Black 2, got a Darkrai for the same reason. The only Pokemon I've ever trained to LV100 is my brother's Rayquaza back when I young playing Pokemon Emerald. Fun times.

Y is the first game I've owned and played on my own system xD I just got a 3DS a few months ago but last year a friend lent me her 3DS to play Soul Silver and I was god awful inexperienced with it I never beat the 6th gym but when I got Y I was ready to not make the same mistakes.
I have Ruby also but in all honesty I can't get into it now that I've experienced all the new stuff with X and Y
-also in X and Y its really easy to train a pokemon to level 100 I have at least 18 Level 100 pokemon the moment owo

Oh it's simple. Just go to restaurant Le Wow in Lumoise City. A few trips there and you'll be training pokemon to level 100 in a few hours. (And don't worry about expenses, you get paid back in balm mushrooms which can sell for 3xs as much as you spent to get into the restaurant )
Omg a shiny Froakie is on my bucket list. I've been scouring the friend safari but I'm a bit nervous with shinies after my shiny encounter...with a gyrados.....whyyyyyyy

Thanks for the Level Grinding tip. It's not the Froakie I desire, but the Greninja it evolves into. Also Wonder Trade is so much better than the GTS

I plan on naming mine (Male) Izanagi or (Female) Izanami. At least with Wonder Trade, you don't have to put up with ridiculous requests but you won't know what you'll get until the trade's done.

Oh it performs all right....gengar has some wicked speed and special attack stats at level 100, for me at least that's good xD
Mega Banette irks me a little with all the zippers owo I might get one though because hey completing the pokedex is on my to do list xD

holy SHIT dude I actually like your take on Mega Gengar (I really just want to level up my caught Haunter and find the Mega stone for Gengar)
this is actually very creative and I love the tail-like thingy it has (instead of being "stuck" to the ground)
i'd probably even prefer it to the real thing
(i also sketched out an idea for a Mega Meowstic and possibly a Mega Greninja, so this inspires me to draw it sometime soon.)

Yeah Gengar's normal ability is Levitate which gives it full immunity to Ground-type moves, but when it Mega Evolves its ability when in Mega Form is Shadow Tag, which is essentially the same thing as Mean Look, it prevents the opponent from switching out or escaping (though I believe only like 3 moves can escape the effects of Shadow Tag and switch out) I dunno if it still has levitate in Mega form I haven't tested it owo
Aw man if your internet was working I'd trade with you for your Haunter so it could evolve to Gengar then give it back to you if your internet was working ;w; Because unless you trade it to someone and get it back once it evolves there's no way to evolve it ;w;
But yeah if only xDD
omg yes Greninja would have like water katanas or something smwmamwwmgh though much as I hate to admit it water shuriken was pretty weak I mean yeah its a priority move but unless you're up against a fire ground or rock type its useless kinda :<

Actually in its normal animation in battle in stands there normally swaying from side to side as part of its idle animation but when you leave it like that for a few seconds (you know how the battle view goes all cinematic with camera pans and all that while it waits for you to make a move?) When you it starts doing that and the camera pans past Gengar you'll sometimes see it giggle while simultaneously levitating a few inches off the ground xD
-anotherwords it levitates when it feels like it just to look badass xD

its funny because when you put Gengar in Pokémon Amie it'll make little kawaii animations once and awhile like putting its hands on its cheeks and swaying from side to side xDD
Yep trade is the only way to get a Gengar unfortunately ;w; Its like that with a bunch of other pokemon ;3; thank god I actually have a class full of people to trade with now
not to mention as clearly stated in the title its Sludge Bomb/Wave move is killer on faries
