At 1st glance, this is funky and free with really warm
colors and is a nice composition over all.
While its good atm, it could be great. The texture of the robe seems to be to similar to the texture of the background which is really cutting down the contrast.
The lighting is where the real work is needed, its shaded wrong witch makes this picture unbelievable. from the shading of the hood, the light looks like its coming down from the top left but if you look below it on the face, its coming from the hard left and below that there is no lighting at all. You should be able to see her body where the robe opens.
The face is really well done, that needs no work and the orb is funky. All the lines in the background take away from the subject and should be removed or blurred at it.
It has amazing vision, it just needs a hard look to iron out the loops and holes.

I think the lighting is good. I really like the yellow light hitting the side of the character's face. The hood gives it a movement which I like alot

really nice, something you could work on is the hood, and the angle of the face. Because the hood looks like its sorta from the side n it is a little more interesting with not just flat angles.
N you do have this cool side light thing coming on.
Otherwise its hard to say anything. Its good as it is.
Maybe have a hint of the other hand as well. Just to add some more detail.

well, just do it if you want to and feel its fun.
The pic is good as it is. N quality comes trough quantity so just keep exerimenting with your style n make sure its fun. I guess doing kroqui or life drawing can be good swich, but I allways thought that was boring bones n muscles is fun though n sculpture is good so you can see the stuff n rotate it in your head
