Still trying to find a style that doesn’t take me daysss to finish. This was made mostly without references so the shading is more illustrative and I don’t really mind it.

Training for my quintet, who are going to TWD and also training for me, for drawing these blues. Which I love.

If I could live in this painting, I would. I’m in love with winter, snow, ginger cookies, hot tea, warm cardigans and christmas spirit (which I was starting to already feel drawing this )

James has been preparing himself and his animals for the extreme endurance race known as The White December for almost a year now. He spent the summer in Scandinavia, clearing miles and miles a day with his sturdy Oberzles Kras. On top of that they also entered an endurance competition in Sweden - The mountain trail , but now it was time to train all horses together to form a team. Foxy (the pissy one) is really attached to Kava, who is literally the only horse she has no problems with. Kras on the other hand is a sweet boy who tries his best to be likeable by both mares. He can be a bit jumpy and tries to force the “2nd base” on the girls, but when they show him, they’re clearly not interested he backs off and goes back to being a good boy. Kava is a bit of a wonderer, likes to sniff some leaves, take a little bite of grass, or stop and enjoy the views, though never going far from the group. James trusts her enough to let her tag along loose and you can tell she enjoys having her little stops, while not disturbing the pace of others. Aka never leaves Jameses side, so it’s only natural she’s a part of the team aswell.
