While I love painting and drawing animals, flowers are..relaxing. Especially orchids, oh how I love them.

Beautiful job! I find the curve of the muzzle as it approaches the nose very difficult to achieve realistically, and you have nailed it. The addition of flowers is surprising, but adds a lot of peacefulness. And, yeah, I have trouble with smudgy hands, too!

I love this. The upward angle of the face creates a surreal feeling and is very strange and calming. I love the way you have drawn the ears particularly and just the overall anatomy of the face. The orchids are fantastic too! I adore orchids and keep quite a few of them but have found their structure to be very complex and mysterious when doing studies so I admire how well you have portrayed them!

I've been dying to have some orchids of my own (my mother seems to be the Orchid Whisperer, she can revive them from nearly dead and hers are all incredibly healthy - except when the cats get to them) but I'm afraid that my apartment doesn't get enough light for them to survive.
