It's very interesting to know how do you stage your artwork. You don't have to make a lot of things and the result is so amazing! I've always wonder where you stage your works, and when I discovered that's in a little box like this I was very surprise!
It shows that with a few things and imagination you can do great things. And thanks a lot for the tutorial, it may be useful.

yea ... it's pretty simple isn't it? and very home made but it does work for my purpose. i usually am only able to craft and take photos at night when the kids are asleep, so i do need some sort of light box. and i can never wake up early enough to catch the morning sunlight since i craft till about 4am!! my evening sun here is too harsh for beautiful photos. so really not much choice!!

I've got problems too with the light.
I usually wait for the week end because I get up later and so I have a good luminosity. Otherwise, since I go to school later on monday, I just wait for sunrise.Maybe I should make one...?

sometimes the simplest idea really works. too often we think that to be creative we have to buy something to be creative with. your idea works. when you "do" really shiny stuff close off the front (with a hole for the lens to poke through) and light on all sides.

thank you very much for the advice Mike ... i usually have some trouble with shiny stuff (luckily i dun do it too often!) ... have to filter so much light from the top and reflect from the side ... now i finally know the right way to do it!! thank you!!
