Extending the concept of what I now call “the Looking Glass” from my previous two journals, I wanted to capture again the atmosphere of old world romance which I so love.

This is book 2 to 'Homecoming'.
'Memoir' would be a collection of this soldier's memories of his beautiful wife and their life together before and after the war. I love a happy ending … don't you?

This mixed media journal is made with a combination of paint, patina, copper wires, clay, paper, resin, rivets, brass piece, solder and an old pen nib.
