Description
The romantic notion of a traveling bohemian artist has always stirred some sort of emotions within me. So hereβs to freedom β¦ freedom to love, to live freely and to make art.Boho Opulence is a mixed media necklace which combines antique brass/gold findings, filigree and chains, 16 gauge brass wires, faceted glass beads, jasper beads, assortment of fibers and a miniature leather cover book with coffee stained pages and vintage pen nib.
*the necklace is 30 inches, and the pendant is 8 inches in length (including the fibers).
*the book measures 1.5 (W) x 2 (H) x 0.75 (T) inches and has 156 writable pages. Pages are coffee stained.

thank you very much yes i normally do, tho for the time being i've stopped due to time constraints (i do have to finish some piled up commissions which i haven't had time to start ... or rather, my brains haven't been able to focus on the designs due to many things going on in my life now!!)

Haha I hear you on that. XD My house is a mess right now because of remodeling and it's been everything but nice and inspirational for my creativity. LOL
Oh man... now I'm torn between buying this one because I dunno if I can wait or keeping it together and holding out until you open for commissions. XDD
Ahhhh decisions, decisions. x-x I'm no good with them haha.
Life is definitely important though! Best to get that situated first. Good luck!! ^~^

hahaha!! thank you for understanding! ... it gets harder and harder after you have kids, esp if one is just a baby. every time i get into the "zone" ... there's baby stuff to do O_o ...but it's a choice that i made, so no regrets
i guess when the little one turns 4, it'll be easier on me again

Lol absolutely! ^~^
Ahhh I bet! My mom said the same thing but she also throws in that last bit too; that now that we're grown, we help her out and she gets more time to goof off. So it'll pay off!
Just imagine when she's a teen and she's helpin' with dishes and laundry. Always makes my mom happy to come in to a clean kitchen. XD

Awww! Thank you so much! ^~^ <3
I gotta tell you, I've been trying to figure out the mini-book thing all night haha. It's crazy awesome. How do you punch holes in the leather? o-o I did a leather project once with regular sewing needles and it was a nightmare for my fingers hahaha. I know you can punch holes out but the holes are so little there's no way. .-.

do you mean for the pages to sew onto the leather spine? i use this spike thingy which you can find from the hardware store. i measure and poke the holes on the leather and the pages before i use the thread and needle to just thread thru the pre-poked holes.
the spike thingy looks something like this:
