Description
The idea for this image came when I was working on a tv commercial involving a lot of little CG Geishas
. It took quite a while and lots of brush dabs to finish this off.

This is absolutely gorgeous, the light and color are justdelightfull. I love how the line of green shrubbery from the left angles down to merge into the shadows of where shes going at the end of the path...that really draws me in.

Wow, perfect! I love all the detail put in this painting, the lighting of the forest is just perfect, as it gets darker and hazier as you go deeper. The geisha, as small as she is, fit's in perfectly in the scenery. The colours are gorgeous, and I love how every leaf has a different hue. Just marvellous!!

I saw this in a digital painting book my uncle bought for my cousin. As soon as I saw this, I got chills everywhere.
I just love how the subject of this art does not need to occupy a large part of the painting just to be noticed or seen. The geisha ties everything together... the wonderful splash of colors and shades, the emotion and feel... She draws all of the viewers attention to one single, tiny point... and she does all of that with her back turned!
One of the best art I've ever seen in my life! Definitely not going to be forgotten :]

Oh man! I so agree with all the other positive comments here, and can only gush more because this is awesome in its sense of scale and depth. And the beautiful way we get the depth of the forest with the haze and blue-green and fade up to the oranges and reds with light toward the treetops! This is my favorite of favorites right now.
