when i posted up a few pics of My Studio this was one alot of people said they liked so i thought i'd put it up biggerjust a bit of drawing practice, watercolour pencil, half hour tops

there are times when drawings are much more expressive than photographs...and this is one of them

I love how you placed every thing. I like how you conserved your black, by placing it on the right cheek and eyes, and the white only being brightest in the eyes really makes that a well placed major horizontal, and the cheek and forehead make a great major vertical. Not that you care, but this is the best composition I've seen all week.

I often wonder wether great artists are listening. I usually dont ask like that. Because alot of them either read and dont reply or just ignore it. That plus I was kind of zoned out at that point 
I guess some people just dont have much time, or there more introverted. If I got many more comments than I do, witch isnt much, I would be overloaded. Do you do much critiquing? Have you ever taken a drawing class?

i do critique, but more rarely. and i just started a drawing class at school, however i am thinking about swapping to photography, cos i also enjoy that and it might be nice to get some formal training in it

I dropped my photography class
Not cas I dont like photography though, the teacher was just to constraining. Drawing classes are great, unless you've got an idiot for a teacher. If all there teaching is the differnce between stippling and cross-hatching your wasting your time. Are you still in highschool?

He reminds me of my brother when he was younger. The lines don't seem very firm or stable. But all in all pretty good.

I love this piece. The eyes looks like they are piercing through your soul. Almost like a photograph, ne.

Interesting... has a bit of the neverending forehead impression going on, but I like the texture of it, the edgy shading.
