i'm self-taught as far as drawing goes! i've just always drawn for fun. i did study animation at the utrecht school of the arts where i learned about animating.

Have you been watching "Fear the Walking Dead"? Sharks are one thing: I expect them to be in the ocean. This? A supernatural lady with fluorescent patches all over her body? Underwater and not struggling to breathe? And staring with insidious purpose? All kinds of NOPE! NOT GONNA HAPPEN! I AM LEAVING NOW!
Lady of the lake, indeed. Probably related to Jason or some other horror fiend. But then again, that hair is beautiful. I thought you would let it billow a bit more, but then it would take up a lot of the visual and block some of the light that makes her otherworldly.
You've managed to extract another emotion from me with this piece. Bravo!

Aww, I so love the movement of the background and hair, and the super soft blue shading on her shirt and arms! I don't get the blue patches on her skin though... Her eyes are already very intense without it
