Description My first attempt to concuere the Dry Brush technique... a lady portrait.
Used the Fabriano soft watercolor paper but I erased the forehead and damaged the paper
New try outs will have to follow ^^

Man, man, man. Als je dit kan tonen en zeggen "'t was een eerste poging ..."
dan kan de rest er gewoon mee ophouden, toch? ...

i realy hate it when erasing isnt possible on watercolor paper
because i have also noticed it to late on my tombow watercolor paper
it was saying 300gsm and hot pressed so i dont thought it can be any problem to erase
yessss, i thought the wrong way
anyways... you did nice job again

Thank you so much Ed but how strange...
This is done with oil paint but it erases very easyly...

perhabs you used it dry and the paper only have it on the upper side
and the paper is very soft so you can easy damage it and take it up
so like bob ross said little happy accidents
maybe you could try an cardboard or photopaper or some other coated paper
where you can remove it easier without damage
only an idea i got no experience with it but drybrush is an interesting technique
i will use drybrush with watercolors when i need more color to add more detail i dont know if its like the same
in behaviour but i think its nearly but way harder to control when you adding shadows i think

anyways i talk to much
so your work was nice the more when it is with oilpaints done
