It's a reallly beautiful drawing, I do really like the way you have drawn the hair, It looks like a photo!!! the shadows are also cool. It's the pity the tail isdifficult to distinguish from the water, maybe next time another colour, green or something. I like the water, It's a nice colour and ou can see the deep, becouse the bottom is darker then the top. she has a nice attitude, a real natural position. this painting does really has a huge impact. I have to say it's one of the most beautiful paintings I have seen here yet.

Thank you! I guess I kept the fin/tail subtle so it can be taken as either abstract woman sitting or as a fantasy Mermaid. Or maybe even a girl just sitting and fantasizing she was a Mermaid. But I like your suggestion, I should try another one more strait forward as a Mermaid

This is my favorite! It is so breathtaking and airy ... and, although I can tell you put a ton of work into this, it appears effortless and simple. it suggestsre than ows, which I always admire in art but I haven't been able to achieve yet myself!

After second thoughts, I think that the white near the top is a good thing. It is not perfect, but it does add good texture and contrast to the piece. Once again, good work.

haha thank u! underneath is actually a portrait of an old man upside-down i did in portrait class and i hated it so much, i covered it up with this picture and ended up loving it hahahaha sometimes the most spontaneous carefree things end up good

I like the way the tail blends into the water. The different tones of colour on her torso are also very beautiful.
I think that the textured white at the top of the painting takes away a little from the overall depth of the image; but I like the changes in light and darkness near the center of the painting.
The Mermaids pose is lovely and her slightly suggested face is very pretty. Her style of hair is something I have not often seen well done in mermaid artwork, but it is certainly well done here. Overall, this is a lovely piece.
