Description 40 x 30 Oil on canvas. Tori Amos did a song called "Your Cloud". I love a line in it ; "Pick Out Your Cloud". I thought it woud be a great title to a painting and kept telling myself to come up with a painting for that. About a year later I was suprised that I drempt this in pretty much detail. The hook on the angel fish is so he won't be blown away with high winds. So it is a commitment on his part to his taking care of the frog friends.

i like it.
the detail is nicely done with the lighting, depth, clouds and rock

the surrealistic feels almost made me compared it to Dali's work

Oh I do. Some times I worry that I might quit dreaming images worth painting. Yet I have a long list and pile of thumbnail sketches of dreams. If that happenes, I have enought to keep me busy for a few years.

I love the thought of choosing a cloud.
The texture and detail on the rocks and on the fins of the fish are incredible. It shows that you take great care to paint the details in your paintings.

I just looked him up.... A definate same look as one of my favorate artists... Gil Bruvel. I have two of his books and a print. Wish I could afford an original. Thanks for sharing his name.
