Great photo, nice composition. The clouds in the background look relly good, and the colors all complement each other well.

What a gorgeous picture!! I just love the colours.
The contrast of the warm colours in the foreground and the cool colours in the far background, horizon and beyond, seem to evoke a storm of emotion. Perhaps it a representation of the different sides of life. On one side of the fence we are happy and content, yet behind the smiles and behind the masks, we are just a storm raging in emotions, just waiting to be released at any moment.
I love the composition: the sea the horizon, and parallel to that the gate across the shore leading into the water. I also love the way the wall acts as a line that seperates the warm and cool tones. The fine line that seperates our emotions.
overall a fantastic picture. It looks so peacful, yet you get the sense that things aren;t always what they seem...beneath it all a storm is forming.

Thank you - really. I have so many versions of this scene - ones where the fence is pointing out to the horizon, ones focusing on the gap in it. In the end I chose this - because it has a little bit of all of them. Dreams of what might be on the other side - freedom or fears and desaster, maybe all? And a little gap in the fence to climb over if and when you want. Or maybe we already did and are looking back ... ? Again, thanks a lot for sharing this
