To me, creating art is more about the idea you have in mind and less about execution. So when practicing new styles the proportions and expressions are very important and I am always trying to start with the most crucial features. Using reference pictures that inspire you are essential and as I love pastelles and pinks this is my way to start and of course also my advice for you in case you want to find your own style!Β <3Related content

I love how smooth and glossy her skin looks :0Β And she has such charming eyes, the colour of vibrant blue sky at the daybreak. I can almost see it as it was real) And her hair colour fits perfectly. if you look at both pictures you can see the similarities (eyebrows, lip colour, hair, choker) but they arent the same??

If you don't want to recreate her in your style then what's the point of photo? Just to show inspiration? That sends a misleading piece of information,teaching blossoming artists how not to convey the soul of the source. Such exercises are about finding proportions for the reference and showing the source in own style. The girl looks nothing like her,and her face is really uncannily exgaterrated.
