This is a personal painting I've been working on for a few months now, finally calling it finished! The story of the image changed a few times, originally it was just the tiger swimming alone but I wanted to add another character to it. Thought of a friendship between a young wild tiger and a little stray cat who's getting a brand new view of the islands it lives in

So adorable - lovely water effects and lighting/shading of the water as well. Both characters are too cute together.

This painting never fails to make me smile. Every time I look at this I giggle a bit because it's just so cute. The anatomy and shading is also spot on, and the light turquoise color emphasis not only contrasts very well with the tiger's orange, but lends a light, playful air that perfectly matches the whole scene. Something about the diagonal slant also adds a feeling of playful whimsy. Very well done!
