Description
First of all: This picture was inspired by the artist "Rambutan Illustration" and her latest video on Youtube. I really love her style so i totally recommend her. Please check her out
In her video she showed how to create an space magic dust with copics. I tried to used her technic to create the same effect with watercolors. These are my used materials:
- Copics (background)
- Copic Multiliner (Lines)
- Watercolor (Space dust and mermaid shading)
- White ink (Stars)
- Gansai Tambi Starry Colors (golden leaves)
So you can totally call this a mixed media piece. Also i used my mixed media paper again i felt in love with recently
It's super smooth and after some tests i can say: it worked with every medium i tried. <3

To be honest the tail was more like an "accident". At first i wanted to drew it completely different.... but at the end it turned out like this and im very happy with the result
