the star marked with a slightly brighter green is alpha centauri, our closest stellar neighbour (some 4 light years away) which is in fact two stars: apha centauri A and alpha centauri B; together with a dimmer proxima centauri they form a triple-star system.
sometimes i like to wonder if i'll live to see the day when a human-made machine reaches that far..

I get a feeling of a satanic nature... ( sorry if you don't agree, but when you combine dead people and astrology - that is a reasonable feeling to have )
The image to me is saying something more like - Man will never reach that far, he will die with his foolish thoughts that he is the master of the universe...
Even the light behind him is glorifying this dead soul, with his dead and empty eyes, in a mocking way...
( Of course regarding the quality of the art itself, it is top quality rendering )

It's amazing not only the drawing but the feelings that get to me. Somehow they make me feel sadness and nostalgia as if I am looking at a person I used to know that's not here anymore but that still I can recognise in that constellation . I' m probably wrong haha this is just my opinion anyway.
