Well this is the redraw version of the great Empress of the Triosia queen Valkyrie. Well I might give Celestia a shot of her own sometime. As for Valkyrie she was the first of her kind and I really tended to keep her uniqueness as it is by my own style.
Beside smiling isn't something that suit her that well. . . XD

Well, You could make a sad Celestia in that style, think on how she felt after banishing her sister to the moon, she probably was very sad.

Well I do have seen the sample of it in Ep2. The designing key point of FiM aka G4 style are heavily toward on life-full and laughter which is pretty much alike it's predecessor "PPG" and "Foster's Home". So technically this style of art isn't that favorable for dramatic story Plots/Characters.
