At times, I do wonder if my depiction of deities would offend other people. However, I am also assured that I am doing it right, as it is the deities who do wish to be portrayed. In the last 5 years, life wasn't much about having a good night's sleep, as visions would come and go. And I would immediately get up from bed and try to capture what I saw. This piece is one of those visions

Or at least gifted in the ability to portray them
My Kali was drawn from a vision as well, but I can't claim an iota of the success you have
My talent lies in traversing the insurmountable landscapes of the inner world of music

We all seek different avenues in to which we express what we see. At some times, we do not completely capture the essence of a vision, and will be compelled to do it at some latter period in time. I say this in context to you comparison of my 'success' to your work, and I see that your youth holds much potential.

For example, my work "The Well of Souls" took me more than 20 years to realize into a final artwork. I kept on drawing the image until it took me that long to understand my vision, and that I was skilled enough to capture it. I am also in the process of re-illustrating some other older works

Time is on our side, whether at your youth or even at my older state in life

yup..Goddess Kali's nature is my favorite as she is so bold with no fear..she doesn't wear clothes as representing her rebel behaviour..

I actually use purple to substitute the use of black, and it does come out pretty nicely

hahaha, I just remembered that I one tried using purple coloring gel on my hair in the 80s . . . man, we were fashion victims then
