Gather around the campfire children! It's story time!

Ever since I first played Ruby/Sapphire(when I was a little girl, of course), I've always saw Steven as an old guy. Why? Well when I first saw his trainer sprite, I was like: "Is he like an old person or something?". I pretty much thought that he was until one day, I was looking at my Emerald handbook and saw his official art work for the first time. I was shocked really... and I ended up growing a small crush on him for some reason. I thought I was crazy for finding him a little cute until I became more active on the Internet and found that I wasn't the only one. Boy, I definitely wasn't the only one.

So yeah. I drew this picture for three reasons. First, nostalgia. Second, because I was looking at a lot of fan art of him the other day and I wanted to know how he looked in my style. Third and (probably) the most obvious reason of all: The remakes are coming~! Speaking of which, I wonder what he's going to look like in the remake? Perhaps once his redesign comes out, I'll probably draw that too. :U

Tried to make him look 'handsome' but he looks more adorable instead... I guess that's just what my style does.
