Recently, through no wish of my own, I had a total Complex PTSD Episode brought on by four hospital personnel who had no training in how to deal with an ill person. An ill person who had a fever of 101, had the Shingles, suffers from Chronic Pain and had not been able to keep anything down for 72 hours including medications. The Security Guard at this hospital ER was a wanna be cop who literally terrified me in my weakened state. This broke the wall that for over three years I had built to keep the memories of the horrible trauma suffered by me at the hands of another right to the front. What is wrong with the medical personnel and the people of this country? The medical personnel in rural areas are not trained to handle any anxiety disorder let alone CPTSD. And the people of this country still hold a stigma against mentally ill people, lumping us all into the category of dangerous. Very few of us are. It has taken me two weeks now to stop shaking. But it will take months to get over in my memories what was done to me. Please find out about the ADA, Americans Disability Act, it protects those disabled like the Civil Rights Act.
