First attemp to soft pastels. Pretty good fun but i still don't understand this medium :c.As a reference, lovely photo

Beautiful and soft! The paper is quite rough though. You can get the background to be smoother by gently and carefully smoothing the pastells into the paper "valleys" with a tissue or cotton pad.
