Guess who started to play Dragon Age Inquisition? I'm not sure I'm satisfied with the game yet, there's something in the graphic that hurts my eyes, but I love the characters and my lovely dwarf rogue
And the style of those cards is awesome!
This actually stated as a color test but then my hand slipped and it became a full portrait. I still can't get the hang to use Photoshop to paint. Ngh.
Oh, her name's Thris!

EDIT 08/2015: I just couldn't look at all the mistakes anymore, so I edited it x) There are probably still tons of them lol

First things first:
You are an amazing artist and if I #ll ever be half as good as you are I'll be happy.
I know that feedback from me will most likely not be as useful as feedback from an artist as amazing as you are would be, but as I strongly believe that feedback is something everyone deserves and you don't seem to have gotten any yet I'll try my best to give your work the credit it deserves.
If possible I'll even try myself on some constructive critique.

So with the first look at your picture the viewer is almost immediately caught by her eyes. They seem very alive and one begins to think about what she looks at.
The way you dew the eyes is amazing and they are intensified by the slightly red shadow around them. This is a really good use of complimentary colors.
Though the eye on the left, not shaved side, seems a tiny bit smaller than the right one, considering the fact that she has her had turned.

Thris's face is all in all really nicely done. especially the paint on her face is amazing with it's slightly worn out effect.n The small scar is only one of the details that make her look not completely perfect and with this way more alive.

Her hair as an amazingly well depicted fluffyness.
It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!
Furthermore the shaved off part of her hair is perfectly illustrated. I really love it it makes her look really beautiful and wild at the same time. Though maybe the transition between the two halves could've been a little smoother by using single hairs and have them fall across the shaved part.

The ear is the only thing about this picture that is not as amazing as the rest.
I mean ears are something that are incredibly hard to do realistically but I think the shadows are a little to hard there. at the lower part of the ear the
inner part is merging with the outer part which is not illustrated here.

Her scarf and clothes and armor are just as amazing as the hair especially with the small worn out effects!
As well as the magic light she holds in her hand. especially it's reflections on her hair and armor!
The hand holding it... I have no words to describe it drawing something as difficult as a hand with such an amount of details and this thorough amount of determination just amazing.
I have a question about the second hand though. Is it someone elses? If it is it should have a slightly different skin tone to illustrate the difference. and if it is her hand it should maybe be a little smaller it makes a bit of a bigger impression than the other one.

All in all amazing piece! please please go on producing such amazing works!
I'd love to see more of Thris as well e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

Thank you very much for sharing you art with all of us e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

I hope my feedback was okay and a very good day to you.

Thank you so much for the critique! And thank you for pointing out all of those little things, I'll certainly be more careful next time (and yes, the second hand is hers)
Thank you again ♥

I'm happy that it was of help
might I ask: How's the game?
I just recently finished a game and I'm searching for a good one to play

^u^
I'm still not that far into the game. I think I've played for less than 5 hours, and the story looks interesting so far, I already love the characters, just don't bother buying it if you're using a ps3 or a Xbox360. The graphic is really lacking for the old-gen consoles and it's annoying at times, with low-quality textures and flickering pixels. My eyes hurt because of those things and the extremely small text ç__ç If you use an old-gen console I suggest you to wait until the price lowers, because it's been a huge disappointment, at least to me.
Also the combat system is a bit weird, not being able to change the weapon during the fight is really a nuisance, but the overall strategy system looks great!

Now... I haven't thought about it earlier but... it looks cool when you give your character green eyes. That way she looks somewhat tied to her mark, you know makes your chara very unique, destiny and stuff. Oh I hope it makes sense.

Wow xD it's been a great coincidence then, because I knew nothing of the mark when I made her and I was even going to give her blue-purple eyes, but then I settled for green! It'll be a great thing to exploit in possible future drawings +_+
