Yay! My second digital painting is now complete!This was created from scratch with Photoshop Elements and my new Wacom Intuos3 Tablet.
For the most part I used soft edged brushes of many sizes and opacities. The hair strands and fur I used a pressure sensitive brush. This took about 14-15 hours. View my gallery for WIPS.

omg!!!iT'S AMAZING!! SO realistic. I did the same pic but with colored pencils. and it's only your second digital painting? Amzing!! Did you learn by practice or actually go to school to learn? I wanna try going digital and am considering buying the intuos3 but it's pricey and since i'm a total begginer I dunno if it's worth it or if it's too difficult to use. Any advice? I'm all ears...

Thanks! You know, I do love my tablet. It took a little bit to get used to, but just like you get used to using a mouse and looking at the computer screen, you get used to using the tablet. I hope you get one - make sure to tell me how you like it!
