I love her. She's my favorite character and I personally think her gender-related issues are a bit more intense than Kanjii's (not dissing his arc by any means, love him too), but like Yuu said "Girls work harder than guys to be who they are". Kanjii may have been ridiculed and made fun of for his hobby, but women have a harder time making themselves known because of expectations and stereotypes. I'm not saying the males have an easy time either. It really depends on the person and their circumstances.
She's badass and takes responsibility like a boss. She inspired Kanjii to be himself more and to go all the way instead of just acknowledging and accepting it part way.
