Ahhh!!! This group!!! I am so excited to have had the opportunity to be a part of these lovely ladies. I love Homura and jumped at having an excuse to make this cosplay. And that sky is real. It was perfect Madoka Magica weather during this shoot: freezing and windy. BEING A MAGICAL GIRL IS SUFFERING. Oh, and did I mention that we had witches join us later? Yes, WITCHES. It was epic. This picture is amazing and epic - every magical girl looks individually stunning and in-character. Plus that sky adds such depth and atmosphere! My only nitpick is that I wish someone had noticed the Madoka cosplayer's poor wig shifting rather noticeably (revealing her hairline underneath) before this was taken, she might've had time to adjust.. :/ but aside from that, really inspired Madoka group pic!

Thank you. The epic sky was coupled with epic wind that was blowing our costumes every which way, so some things we didn't realize until the picture was already taken.

That sky was so epic on Friday late afternoon, I wish the winds weren't there so that I could continue shooting outdoors. The winds picked up very suddenly right before 6 pm, forcing everyone to return to the Gaylord.
But once we were inside, the fountain started to light up, shooting water and playing music. Perfect timing!
