i had finally gotten the new pokemon game a while back and it managed to break the art block i had been experiencing! i legit had the opposite experience of 'this thing was so overhyped and when you finally looked at it you were like eeeh it isn't that good tbh', in which the hate towards it was so immense that when I finally played it I found myself really enjoyed it lmao

Some things of note:
-i did outloud pronounce his name as 'Bidet', and I am sticking to it
-i know that with each gen the starters keep getting smaller and smaller, but oh my god. lil sobble. just a blue speck beside me
-the whole time i was trying to keep myself from being unspoiled to everything and enjoying it super blind, so when i finally found galarian ponyta that was my real time reaction
-the black smudge was a failed drawing of hop, pls don't look underneath
-mimikyu is forever my favourite pokemon. i was going to doodle this too (prolly later), but I am so miffed that Opal didn't choose me as the fairy type gym leader. I would die to take that role.
