Description
For Exalted: Books of Sorcery, Vol. V - The Roll of Glorious Divinity II.Ligier, the Green Sun. My absolute favourite demon, and I HATE how this came out. Possibly because I had such... well, high demands on how he should be because I'm such a Ligier fangirl. I ran out of time to fiddle with it, too... sigh.

My favourite Exalted NPC as depicted by my favourite Exalted Artist. There is literally nothing not to like. I love all your work on Exalted though, but as a fan of Ligier I am especially fond of this.

I understand what you mean by "high demands on how he should be". On the other hand, this is grandly portrayed, and has that 'Indian-motif' look about it, the liquid smooth-almost scary appearance. Great job

I think this is beautiful - I don't know much about Exalted and all I know about Ligier is what friends have shared and a little bit from the internets (including what you've posted!), but I still think it's gorgeous.
I've taken to doodling Ligier a bit after listening to my friends, and I've been using your pictures as models. I hope you don't mind! ^^'

I absolutely love your design for Ligier...it's the perfect combination of beautiful and creepy. In fact, I think your art really made the Demons book for me...you did a great job of capturing the weirdness of Malfeas without making them look stereotypically 'demon-y'.
But I have to ask...is the phallic hilt thing intentional?

Awesome stuff kiyo. I was actually wanting to note I'm happy for you that you go tto do this one. And the daiklave he has ther ein the image just looks awesome. Imagining it made of brass and shiny adds a lot to that too.
