Well, everyone seems to be drawing/painting John Lennon lately... so I thought I'd give him a go
Last time I drew him it was in charcoal, never done him in pencil... John is a true legend that will live forever in his music and words, in our hearts and our minds. 
The late John Lennon, formerly of the Beatles. Pencil on sketchbook paper, reference from I can't remember where, total time about 2 and a half hours from beginning to end. Shading was a killer, but I think it turned out pretty well
I hate doing straight forward faces... Yes, his glasses were crooked on his head in the reference

Oiy! Pencil?? This is breathtaking. HIs eyes are so clear, his glasses are perfectly round (hey, they always come out lopsided to me xD) and the shading is flawless. Oh how I envy you!
