I think I know what makes your artstyle so fascinating;
All the creatures you depict keeps a sense of ferocity, a wild and untamed aspect which renders them far more alive and intriguing than the classic "portrait" of an unnaturally still animal.
They look dangerous, something to beware, letting our natural senses kick in for a split second, as even the more docile creatures has this tangible aura of mysticism.
To summarize; Your stuff is very cool, I could only dream of getting that soul into my own future artworks, keep it up.
