"Loneliness--the leprosy of West" -Mother Teresa

never knew TIME magazines have really crisp and pretty black and white photos , until a dormate gave me her tattered copy through sis. Upon seeing the pic, got interested with the skin folds. I suck at drawing hands (as with my previous works), so decided to try this one.

in this work, i've learned how a good, hard lead pencil and a really sharpended one makes all the diff. took me more than a week because of too many breaks and excuses the background was too dark so i had to retrace everything(which ate loads of time)

and as usual, shitty scanner. have to enlist the aid of my ever reliable mspicmanager. LOL next time i'll look for comshops that'll give me higher-resolution scans, (or maybe wish for an own flatbed next time )

one more thing, i feat this thing in my first WIP diary (link below)
