Oh wow, her eyes are striking. Was this inspired by the Afghan Girl?

The colors are icy cold, but dry. The texture wraps her in definition. Spiky but protective and puts her mind, feelings and person at a distance. The eyes are framed and lifted. Where she looks in concert with the crop makes her look over ones head. She sees not us who see her. We become transparent and frozen like ice. Waiting for the day that she will lower her gaze, turn her back and walk.
That is the feeling I get.
