-_-'' I suck at naming these things.yahhh my latest sketchy!
I started it a week or so ago andddd worked little bit here and there during passing periods, on the bus, and before chemistry.
some cool kids from this one school (sorry, i forgot their name) saw it and so I decided to put alittle more effort in.
damn... i forgot to sign it...
so yeah, somewhere out there, on a ringed gas giant, an island floats, with some messed up city sitting on top of it.
Didn't go nuts with perspectives on this one... but it's there.

hmm for backgroundish stuff i would lighten the shading - here it seems mildly flat. but then again, no aim for perspective = flatness, so it's okay
the idea is really awesome! i wonder how you came up with this =/ i could never do anything of this quality...especially during passing periods and on the bus -____-

It is amazing as usual. Giving the fact that you only used passing periods+bus time, this is impressive (better than what I can do in a quiet area with mild breezes, cup of hot tea, and ten thousands pencils of varying quality ).
Though I personally think you don't need the two black bands? And also, I was just going to point out that things get smaller as they are further from the foreground... but since you aren't so perfection-achieving about perspective on this one, I guess it is fine. And... by the way, why is it called "Beyond the Clouds?" just wondering ^^

beyond the clouds? why, it's beyond. the clouds. see, the clouds are below the floating island, hence, beyond the clouds.

That's really good. It's interesting looking at the lines you make and how things as simple as small marks look just like windows or other details because of how well everything fits together.
