Description
First batch of brand new icon style! Thanks to all eight of you who signed up to be my guinea pigs, these were a blast! Icons are a looser painted version of my usual portraits, done quickly and and with more implied detail so they read well as tiny reduced avatars. Full portraits take much longer, and I go all out on the detail for those, so they can be enjoyed as full sized paintings.I'll potentially be open for more icons again soon!

The thylacine is my favourite. I also notice it's the only one not directly engaging the viewer... Although I don't think that's connected to why I like it.

Man these turned out so well! The looser style works beautifully at preview size, and any icon size I imagine. I'm so glad you found a way to do these that works for you - I definitely hope to hop on the next batch when it comes :>
