I would love to have gotten a flower that was still alive and in bloom that was exposed to freezing rain, that would be a beautiful shot.

That is beautiful! Is that just weathered or did you do something with it to make it coat with ice like that?? i've never actually seen anything like it. Lovely subject, great composition, and beautiful vibrant colours it really catches your eye.
