Do you like colorful things?

"People frequently say of Fairy Tales or of Art, that they are childish, or are an almost wasteful pursuit. Yet the same people do Politics, Religion and Economy which are a far more fanciful waste of time and far more false."

This is really pretty, almost like a drawing, the texture of the petals

Thank you! I did a bit of tweaking on the colors, to make it look surreal.

It's really great. I think to myself...as a photographer...is out art to take and develop picture as is, or do we have the license to adjust AFTER we snap them off. I'm still trying to figure that out, but I myself adjust after the fact, like a painter or someone who draws changes thing as the produce....your thoughts?

for me it depends on the message we want to give our audience. nuances like a tweak in color or even the cropping can actually change the emotion that a picture expresses. say if i want a photo to look happier i can probably saturate the colors more to make it brighter, for it to feel cheery. again, it really depends. because for some photographers they want to have as little post-correction as possible. so i guess, it's really a matter of style, too.

anyway, thanks again!

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I think , for me, it depends on the picture I'm taking. I am also just a beginner and will be taking photography classes and Photoshop classes this winter

ANd as always, you are very welcome
